Many dogs are trained to find to find things, highly specialized to locate drugs, explosives, or missing skiers.
Maddie is no exception. But Maddie tracks down something else entirely: Graffiti.

This morning, she led me straight to the Walnut Park bandstand, where we found all sorts of scribbled ideograms.

Like this one: "Smoke till you die."

Or this, from yesterday: The third stenciled bear, found far away from the Walnut Park playground, on the steps of the Post Office.

Bear, close up. Still creepy. Note that this image has much less spray splatter than the two previously posted, leading us to conclude that it was painted first. Were the graffiti bears heading down the path of Petaluma Boulevard? Are more bears stenciled further East?
Oh, and as you may have noticed, Maddie got a haircut. Hopefully that (and the new screen door) will help her stay cool.
Picture round up:

Randy digs pizza.
(Leslie G.'s graduation party at Bricks. Congrats, Leslie.)

Dog that Maddie and I met at Our Best Friends this morning. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name.

Salad face!
Lisa Iskin salad with ranch dressing.
